David Bernstein

Mr. Bernstein is a Founder, President, and CEO of AnythingIT, LLC. Since 1992, he has established customized IT end-of-life services and trade-in programs for Government and enterprise private-sector IT organizations. These programs facilitate regulatory-compliant e-waste management, recovery, resale, secure data destruction, and technology retirement services.

His programs are used as bundled integration solutions for many resellers, allowing AnythingIT partners to offer complete end-to-end technology lifecycle services. Mr. Bernstein has created industry standards using more than 30 years of learned best practices within the Information Technology Asset Disposition and e-waste sectors. These services help protect customer data while providing security and environmental-liability protection for public- and private-sector marketplaces.

Mr. Bernstein has received the CRN Channel Chief Award and serves as an adviser to the United States Government. In 2002, he was awarded the first General Services Administration Schedule for IT Asset Management and Disposition Services under Schedule 70 — IT Professional Services, and he has personally received Congressional recommendations.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Cristina Foundation, whose commitment is to close the digital divide. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), representing more than 20,000 members from the information-technology reseller and consulting community. He is a graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Chief Operating Officer

Vlad Stelmak

Mr. Stelmak is a Founder and is responsible for managing the global remarketing of Federal Agency and Fortune 1000 IT assets. He instituted best practices for IT asset audits and inventories, including the data capture required to help secure the highest possible resale value.

He oversees all fair-market valuations of IT assets and the ongoing development and support of AnythingIT’s proprietary fair-market valuation index. Mr. Stelmak manages the day-to-day operations of the Global Remarketing sales staff and supervises the continued development and negotiation of new product remarketing and resale channels.

He is also responsible for locating certified EPA and DEP recycling partners in domestic and international markets, and for overseeing partner and subcontractor compliance with AnythingIT standards through continued audits of partner practices. He is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business.

Box Program Director

Ted Knapp

Mr. Knapp joined AnythingIT in November 2010 as Director of Security and Compliance and now serves as Box Program Director. He was previously with Computer Systems and Solutions from 1998 through 2010 and is a veteran of the laptop-computer industry.

He brings more than 27 years of technical and operational experience in laptop and desktop computer environments, followed by 15 years in technology sales. He is the Founder and current President of Rock Our Vets, a national military-related nonprofit foundation.

Mr. Knapp is also an active member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars in his local community. He has served on advisory boards for technical schools, including Plaza School of Technology and Chubb Computer Schools.

Director of Finance

Dipti Shah

Ms. Shah is the Director of Finance of AnythingIT. She oversees the company’s Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources functions, including financial planning and analysis, cash management, audit, tax, and treasury.

She joined AnythingIT in 2000 and has more than 36 years of experience leading finance and accounting teams. She previously held several positions at J.Crew and began her career with the Government of India.

Ms. Shah holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from South Gujarat University.
