David Bernstein
Mr. Bernstein is a Founder, President, and CEO of AnythingIT, LLC. Since 1992, he has established customized IT end-of-life services and trade-in programs for Government and enterprise private-sector IT organizations. These programs facilitate regulatory-compliant e-waste management, recovery, resale, secure data destruction, and technology retirement services.
His programs are used as bundled integration solutions for many resellers, allowing AnythingIT partners to offer complete end-to-end technology lifecycle services. Mr. Bernstein has created industry standards using more than 30 years of learned best practices within the Information Technology Asset Disposition and e-waste sectors. These services help protect customer data while providing security and environmental-liability protection for public- and private-sector marketplaces.
Mr. Bernstein has received the CRN Channel Chief Award and serves as an adviser to the United States Government. In 2002, he was awarded the first General Services Administration Schedule for IT Asset Management and Disposition Services under Schedule 70 — IT Professional Services, and he has personally received Congressional recommendations.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Cristina Foundation, whose commitment is to close the digital divide. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), representing more than 20,000 members from the information-technology reseller and consulting community. He is a graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
